	American Heart Association Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider Renewal Certification			For healthcare providers such as EMS personnel, physician assistants, doctors, dentists, nurses, and respiratory therapists who must have a credential (card) documenting successful completion of a CPR course.

	Course Description			Required Materials
	The AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider Course covers core materials such as adult and pediatric CPR (including two-rescuer scenarios and use of the bag mask) foreign-body airway obstruction, and automated external defibrillation (AED).			BLS Manual & Student CD (80-1010)

				Pre-Requisites
				Students must have a copy of their required manual before, during, and after the course. Students must have a current, unexpired BLS Provider Card.

				Certifications Issued
				AHA BLS Provider Course Completion Card *Valid for 2 years

				Testing
				Written Exam and Skills Testing

				Course Duration
				4 hours instructional time

				Course Cost

Yes, the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is taught using American Heart Association instructional materials by qualified American Heart Association certified instructors.

Cards and certificates are normally mailed within 7 days from the date of the course.

Depending on the Postal Service, you should receive your card within two weeks from course completion.

If you have already registered for your desired course, but did not pay online with a credit card, you can either pay with your credit or debit card online, or bring payment with you to class.
