	48 Hour Paramedic Refresher			This course is intended for paramedics licensed in the State of Ohio and National Registry Paramedics.

	Course Description			Required Materials
	The 48 Hour Paramedic Refresher course presents the required curriculum as required by the State of Ohio Department of Public Safety and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Topics covered in this course include: - Airway & Ventilation - Cardiology - Medical Emergencies - Trauma Issues - Pediatric Issues - OBGYN Issues - Geriatric Issues - EMS Operations The course also covers the required 2 hours pertaining to triage and transportation as approved by ODPS. This course does not provide certification or recertification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, or PEPP. You must register separately for these courses. Click Below for a Printable Flyer! Yes, all MediTrain, LLC Paramedic Refresher courses are approved by the Ohio Department of Public Safety Division of Emergency Services; and all modules are instructed by licensed, practicing Paramedics
(EMT-P) who are qualified EMS Instructors or Special Topics Instructors trained in the particular module being instructed.

Yes, the continuing education course hours from this course can be applied to NREMT requirements for re-registration.
